DRAWING TIPS FOR BEGINNER

HII everyone..  m back after  3 months , and ya that is way long time.. sorry for that

today i shall tell you a few tips about sketching which i feel will help you....

1)AVOID DRAWING CARTOONS

The first one that i feel is the most important as a beginner is to DRAW FROM THE  SURROUNDING,
Like.. in the beginning i everyone feels interesting to draw cartoon characters as they are easy,and even i did.. i did a file full of cartoon characters for about 1 year o more..
but then when i compared myself with my past i came to know that i didnt learn anything that great, i am the same as i was before..i wasted a year in doing the same thing..
*i suggest to all to do live sketching,real object sketching, o sketching from a photograph. this will improve you.*
even i am trying to do live sketching by drawing a view of my surrounding.. this is the recent sketch which i did

2)DRAW EVERY DAY

Practice makes a man perfect... well everyone would be knowing this famous proverb..

yes.. this works out in sketching life too..

try to draw everyday.. lost of artists say such.. But honestly who has time for that..like, v have to go to school , do school homework, and all stuffs..Even i dont get time.. But at least we can do little bit of sketching..,like drawing a small pen, or a cap, o just shading an object for 15-20min..This little stuffs will add a great contribution to your sketching..  

i myself dont get time.. i just do some scribbling... or if i am really eager to do a sketch i will make my time by sketching at night from 10 to 1 everyday..infact i love to work at midnight more than in the morning and i think every artist love the same, as there is complete peace at night and no one to disturb.. With a cup of coffee o more, i will spend a great time sketching...

ok as a sketch artist i shall tell u few TIPS about sketches...

.MY LIFE IS SKETCHING and even i face problems in sketching similar to those problem in everyone's life
.
1) there is nothing such that only talented people can sketch amazingly.. thats the biggest mistake people do before starting a sketch and they give up.. its like quitting a game without playing..if u are really interested in sketching then u will always find a way.. BE PASSIONATE.. without thinking anything just start sketching what ever u want till it get completed.. even if its not nice its fine.. chill.. u did it rather than quitting.. congrats yourself..! and aim for better sketch next time..

never stop yourself from starting anything.. starting is the first step to success..
never quit.. never give up...!

hiii everyone.. i am updating blog after a loooooong time as was a bit busy with my works..

today about my portraits... i am now a beginner portrait artist who's yet learning to make a realistic portrait... i am obsess and fond of doing portrait sketching and aim to do better than my previous sketch..
.
.
"for best work.. u need the best materials" this is what i follow..
use the  best materials to produce the best art in you..
i have n number of pencils ranging from 0.046 $ to 3.82$ n more too..
and also with the best materials u need patience and passion in u..!
there might be moment where u get frustrated when you are not able to achieve what i want and then u just quit doing it... well quitting is not the option, you need to just make your mind free n relax a bit by doing something else like playing sports etc.. and then start doing it again with patience..

well.. a good artist doesn't get satisfied with his\her work and strives to do better every time..!

career decision

i was in 12th and had to do something after 12th in college..based on my sketching skills i felt of doing maters in fine arts.. but my mother didnt allowed me saying that there is no fix career in arts.. but i had made a strong decision  that i wont leave and will continue sketching for the rest of my life.. i had taken science subject and so people suggested me to take architecture.. but i was not allowed(raza) to do architecture and instead  i was advised to do interior designing.. its similar to architecture and had a major role of sketching.. i was happy with it and was exited to join the college..! 12th completed and i had a loooong vacation where i enjoyed sketching a lot..!

these are the few sketches..!! and then later my college started and i was busy with my college works.. starting of the college was amazing..i some how manage to remove time for sketching at night..

later everyone in the my college class came to know about me..!

IF YOU ARE GOOD AT SOMETHING.. DON'T DO IT FOR FREE!!

And then one fine day i was with my friend from other town.. he told me about the grids which can be used to make portrait sketching..!! I felt it to be interesting and so i tried a portrait with gridS.. a portrait of my mom which came out far better than I expected.. I gifted that on HER birthday..

             Again there was a display of my sketches at school, a day before the display I made about 9-10 sketches and even spent the whole night sketching and completed my target..on the day of display I even displayed my portraits.. This event also turned out well.. many complimented and gave their opinions about my sketches..

  then i made a portrait for one of the favorite and the best teacher as a gift..

 people started to ask me to sketch for them and even to sketch portraits for then..and i did those sketch till the day when one of my friend's mother told me to charge for sketching and also told me these words which truly inspired me "IF YOU ARE GOOD AT SOMETHING.. DON'T DO IT FOR FREE" joker's words.. and from then i started charging for my sketches with minimal amount.. i started posting it on instagram and people from other states and country also started joining and supported me.. i highly admire few amazing sketch artists on instagram...!!!!

3D sketching & display of work

well..
i practiced drawing and slowly it became my passion.. i started doing cartoon sketching like dragon ball z, Ben Ten etc...

Then in tenth std i saw a 3d sketch which i first didnt believed to be real.. then on youtube i saw the video of making thst sketch.. i was amazed by seeing that.. then  i started trying and it came out a bit well and then i made many more 3d sketches..and people liked those sketches..

        After completing my 10th i reached 11th were i introduced to instagram which was quite fascinating..i created my personal account with "yusisadri" but then later i forgot the password and so had to create a new account. New account name is " ucsadri".. i started posting my art work there n people like and commented on my sketches..

       Once in the school open day i asked the art and craft teacher and displayed my art works with a banner where " ART BY YUSUF.SADRIWALA" was written..it was really amazing.. everyone started knowing me and come to know that there exists a person named yusuf.sadri who is good in sketching.. at that point my mother was the happiest of all by see my art display..

     many comments and feed backs came.. one of my friend's mother advised me to start making human faces portraits and charge them.. at that time i felt it very hard and was afraid of trying..

i started making faces by making my best friend's sketch as a gift.. it didnt came out well..

ONE FINE DAY

so.. where did i stop..?
ohh ya i got it

6 years later...
.
i was in 8th std..drawing was totally out of my mind..i only knew one guy in our school who was too good in drawing and was 4-5 years elder than me..
I was enjoying my life spending time doing mischief in class,playing games,sports,hanging out with friends and a bit of studying.. and after the school sports day where i got the best athlete i again continued my schedule
then ONE FINE DAY... I was in my class and art&craft ma'am came in ...at that time i realised that ma'am had told us to bring colors to class which i didn't brought..and at that moment a voice was heard my my ears saying " take out your book and start coloring the picture on page no;5" i was quite afraid of confessing that i have not brought colors.. and so i started drawing and completed .. on completed i remembered about that guy who colored using pencil and instead of coloring with colors i started coloring with pencil.. and i completed...
ma'am came around for checking and came towards my desk.. she asked for the book and i handed over the book. on seeing the book with her specks at the tip of her nose her first question was where is your colors and  i replied i didn't brought..and second question was who did this..? and i whispered "me"
she was quite impressed and gave a compliment and a smile and went from there..
and then i observed the sketch and felt its not that bad..

i didnt know anything about sketching and shading and so i went home and surf the net by typing"coloring with pencil" and it resulted as Shading.. and from then i came to know about shading &sketching and my interest kept on increasing..\

i started sketching images from internet and improved my sketching

2 years passed away.. and one day i found an interesting ..

start of my journey

Hii everyone... i am yusuf.sadri and my LIFE IS SKETCHING ..
well.. i am new to blogging and i dont exacctly know what  to do but i feel it to be interestig so i have just started to write..
i am quit fasinated about sketching and trying to be professional. my profileup there is my own sketch which i made a year o two ago..
before showing my recent sketch i shall start from the beginning..
well it started from about 11 years ago when i was in 2nd standard i was admitted  in hospital for an apendix operation and i was not allowed to move from my bed for about 2 months.. i was left with nothing to do..and there start my journey..
my mom bought a pictorial book where there was plenty of comic type pictures..
i read that book 2-3 time and was bored..and then i decided to draw and sketch those pictures..
               *this isnt me in the photo.its a bit similar to my situation*

 

i was drawing till i recovered.. then i left sketching and didnt know that it would be my life later.
